We take the little lane to the left of the auto-repair shop and we begin our descent. We follow the Ledro Trek Medium signposts downhill towards Prè and then uphill towards Legos, from where we walk on country lanes to reach Lake Ledro near Pastei. We turn left and we follow Via Al Lago in the direction of Pur for a short while. At the beginning of the ascent, near the limestone kiln, we take the path on the left-side. We keep on this path and we reach Val di Pur. We continue along Via Casarino towards the lake and at the fork we turn left. We walk in the direction of Malga Cita and we come to Ledro Land Art. We walk through Ledro Land Art and then further to Malga Cita, where we take the SAT 419 path along the Val Scaglia. At the fork, just before reaching Malga Giù, instead of walking further on the SAT 419 path, we take the path to the right towards Sant’Anna. We continue along this path until it joins the SAT 456 path and we start our descent towards Pubregno. At the Bochet de Spinera, instead of keeping on the SAT 456 path, we take the path to the left, which takes us to Pieve.
Valle di Ledro is connected to Riva del Garda by the intercity bus line 214 (Riva-Valle di Ledro-Storo).

You need to wear the right clothing and take the proper gear when you go hiking in the mountains. Even on relatively short easy outings make sure to take all you need so you don't run into trouble if things take an unexpected turn, for example a storm blows up or you have a sudden drop in energy levels.
What should you take when you go on a hike?
Your rucksack (for a day trip a 25/30L capacity should do) should contain:
Make sure you're wearing the right footwear for the trail and season. The going can get rough and rocky underfoot and a pair of hiking boots will protect you from sprains. When wet, a grassy slope, rocky slab or steep trail can be dangerous unless you are wearing the proper footwear.
And finally... don't forget to bring your camera! You'll need it to capture the stunning views you come across all over Garda Trentino. And if you like, you can share your memories with us at #GardaTrentino.
